AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator Exam Prep Course by A Guide To Cloud

About this course

Step into the role of an Azure Administrator with confidence and prepare effectively for the AZ-104 exam. This free online course is designed to help you move from fragmented cloud knowledge to a clear, job-ready understanding of how Azure is actually managed day to day. Whether you are aiming for a new cloud role, supporting production workloads, or leveling up as a systems or DevOps professional, you will develop the practical judgment needed to administer resources safely, consistently, and at scale.

You will learn how identity and access decisions shape everything in Azure, from managing users and devices to applying governance through policies and role-based access control. The course connects those foundations to real administrative workflows such as organizing subscriptions and resource groups, using Azure Resource Manager effectively, and choosing the right tools for the task across the portal, Cloud Shell, PowerShell, and templates. The goal is not just familiarity, but the ability to make repeatable, auditable changes without losing visibility or control.

As you progress, you will strengthen the networking skills that Azure administrators rely on constantly. You will build intuition for virtual networks, addressing, secure traffic flow, routing, and connectivity options between on-premises and Azure. You will also gain clarity on when to use services for protection, name resolution, and traffic distribution, helping you design environments that are secure, reachable, and resilient under real usage.

The course also prepares you to manage data and compute with a cost-aware, operational mindset. You will work through core storage concepts and security approaches, then connect that knowledge to running workloads on virtual machines and platform services. Finally, you will focus on keeping environments healthy in production by using monitoring, logging, alerts, and troubleshooting tools. With exam-style review questions woven throughout, you will continuously validate your understanding and build readiness for both the AZ-104 test and the responsibilities of the Azure Administrator role.
