Sobre este curso

Build real confidence in Mandarin Chinese from day one with a beginner-friendly path designed for HSK 1 / A1 learners. If you have ever wanted to read pinyin accurately, greet people naturally, and handle simple conversations without freezing, this course gives you the foundations to start communicating right away.

You will begin with the essentials of everyday Mandarin, learning common greeting words and useful expressions that fit real situations. From there, you will develop a clear understanding of pinyin: how syllables are formed and how to pronounce them so you can say new words more accurately and recognize them when you hear them. With pronunciation and pinyin in place, it becomes much easier to keep learning independently, since you can use dictionaries, apps, and subtitles without guessing.

Next, you will strengthen core language skills you will use constantly at A1 level: counting and using numbers up to 100, introducing yourself, asking and answering about names, surnames, and nationality, and talking about cities and basic personal information. You will also learn to discuss hobbies and family members, making your conversations more personal and meaningful rather than limited to memorized phrases.

To help you form correct sentences, the course guides you through essential beginner grammar, including basic sentence structures, expressing possession with de, and how to place location information naturally. You will also learn to talk about dates, days of the week, and time expressions so you can describe routines and daily life with greater clarity.

As you progress, you will practice asking questions using common interrogatives, improve flexibility with modal verbs, and handle practical situations like talking about the weather, asking prices, and expressing existence with y?u. You will also see how Mandarin uses particles such as le to express completion, helping your speech sound more natural at an early stage.

By the end, you will be able to handle a range of basic HSK 1 conversations with better pronunciation, stronger sentence control, and the confidence to keep learning Mandarin step by step.
