In Conversation: Dean Glenn Hubbard and Warren Buffett '51 — The Future of Value Investing
About this course
[MUSIC] I think the most valuable advice I could give anyone is to just be yourself. I mean be comfortable in your own skin. It’s authenticity that is compelling.
People like real people. That’s who they respond to. I think if you could just get comfortable that who you are is great and it’ll work. One of the reasons I can say
this is that I’ve seen so many people lead in completely different ways with different styles, unexpected, more traditional.
But the one thing I can say is they all work when they’re genuine. They all work when they’re authentic. So if everyone can just kinda take a breath.
Sit back actually and just say I’m comfortable with who I am, and that’s who I’m gonna present to the world. Because otherwise you have to spend
all your time thinking about it. In the first place, it’s exhausting. To kinda be this other person all day long. And I think it’s just not gonna work,
you know. You just don’t seem to be genuine. And so just be yourself. [MUSIC]
