Sobre este curso
oh man II always keep smilin over here everybody let me introduce you to Larnell Lewis I'm jarred Lauren I was actually out from Toronto and we're
near Vancouver in Canada and he's filming some lessons for dromio edge members and so we thought might as well film some shorter lessons so for you guys as well and so I'm today we're
gonna talk about a Tom groove that you like to use in a lot of your gospel drumming yeah cool um I guess you can find it in some of the more contemporary styles yeah
or inside of the contemporary style of gospel or contemporary gospel yeah yeah this tom group will be used inside of the breakdown or the vamp usually when it's just drums and the vocalists
singing you can also use it along with the group like along with the group playing in particular situations whenever you feel but it's a cool interesting Tong groove to get things
going to get people charged up and it's exciting cool yeah so we're gonna play the ad side we've got actually got it notated out yes we do all professional in everything okay and so we're going to
play it with smart B technology and so let's just first do that and then then we can just break it down with a little further explanation so we're going to do it at 60 beats per misty beats per
minute okay here we go awesome now do you mind just kind of breaking it down a little bit further and maybe just counting it out to explain exactly where everything's
landed cool I'll do sixteenth note subdivisions out loud my voice and I'll just play the rims follow along here we go ye and the te and E and E and E and E 3 and E 3 and 3 and the y en e 3 and the
baby and the very cool and now maybe with Smart View technology we can do it back up to speed so the speed that you actually intro this and I think where it kind of sits
best as you said that around 80 beats per minute yep about 80 beats per minute let's try that with with that smart beat there we go all right so thank you so much Laura now
for sharing that I always listen to this guy play I just hear so many things that I wanted to break down and so it's awesome that we get to share a few of your tips cool now
if you guys want to download the sheet music for this lesson there's a link right below the video any final words give this a whirl see what you can do and let me know if you come up with
anything else that's really cool interesting I'll be looking at thank you
