「Learn Japanese」 How-to turn ADJECTIVES into NOUNS (Stem-Form ADJECTIVE + さ)

To turn an adjective into a noun, simply add the suffix さ right after the Stem-Form of the adjective. For い-Adjectives, this means dropping the final い character at the end of the word and replacing it with character さ. For な-Adjectives, this means simply adding the character さ right after the word itself, because な-Adjectives are inherently in their Stem Form. This grammatical process is very similar to the English usage of suffixes such as “ness,” “ity,”ence,” etc.

oishii = oishisa
