「Learn Japanese」 3 Meanings of たり-Form VERB1 + たり-Form VERB2 + する (“Do VERB1, VERB2, and other such things”)

When used, the たり-Form VERB1 + たり-Form VERB2 + する grammar construct can mean one of three things: [1] the singular subject of the sentence performs VERB1, VERB2, and other such activities during an indicated duration; [2] amongst a group of persons, as indicated by a pluralistic subject (i.e. 皆, 人々, 子供達, etc.), some persons do VERB1, some persons do VERB2, some do other such activities; or [3] an entity is expressing a repetitive change of state (this form is a lot less common than the first two).
