Photograph Wildlife and Nature by Wex Photo Video

Sobre este curso

Turn everyday walks, weekend trips, and even your local park into opportunities for powerful wildlife and nature images. This free online course helps you build the skills to photograph animals, habitats, and landscapes with more intention, whether you are shooting close to home or exploring somewhere new. You will learn to look beyond a lucky snapshot and start creating photographs that feel purposeful, atmospheric, and alive.

Throughout the lessons, you will strengthen the foundations that make outdoor photography consistent: reading natural light, working with changing weather, and using the time of day to your advantage. You will develop an eye for seasonal detail and learn how to translate what you feel in a scene into what the camera records. With practical guidance drawn from real shoots, the course encourages you to slow down, observe patterns in nature, and predict moments worth capturing.

You will also explore creative approaches that can make wildlife photography more distinctive. From camera settings that support fast reactions to techniques that embrace motion, depth, and perspective, you will gain tools to push beyond standard compositions. A special focus on long exposures shows how to use time as a design element, helping you capture water, sky, and moving subjects with a sense of mood and flow.

In addition, you will see how photographers adapt in controlled environments such as safari parks and zoos, and how those lessons can carry back into the field. The course also opens up playful, creative ways to photograph pets, proving that strong storytelling and careful technique matter just as much at home as they do in the wild. By the end, you will feel more confident planning a shoot, choosing settings quickly, and producing nature images that better reflect your vision.
