Mehraan Keval, ’18, is spending the year in Stockton, California, where he is working with Mayor Michael Tubbs, ’12, MA ’12, to study the effects of the city’s universal basic income program. In this installment of our video series chronicling his experience, Mehraan talks about his initial impressions of working on the project, while Mayor Tubbs and SIEPR Director Mark Duggan explain what they expect to learn from Mehraan’s analysis of this policy experiment.
