AMAZING TORN AND RESTORE TRANSPO

hey what’s up guys today I’m gonna teach you an awesome card magic trick that’s called torn and restore Transpo so grab a deck of cards and let’s get started [Music]

all right for this awesome trick my friend is actually going to help me out so go ahead and pick any card any card you want to pick just go ahead and pick any card you want and there we go show

the camera what the card is okay and you can put it facedown on the table so I can look at it so I hope you guys got a great glimpse of what the card is I’m going to take

the card put it somewhere in the middle of the deck it’s right there go ahead and push it in there we go so I have no clue where the card is so I don’t know where the card is but I’m hoping that

you can help me find your card so can you snap your fingers like so like that and your card should jump right to the top is that your card no oh it’s not what’s your card again the three of

diamonds um well that’s embarrassing whatever um let’s improvise a bit so what we’re going to do is every time I make a mistake I’m actually going to rip it into a course so I’ll take the two

which is not your card as you said and I’m going to just rip it into a four like so and hold out your hand please I’ll give you the two of diamonds right there and you said your card was the

three of diamonds so let’s see if the three is in here it’s not in here what the heck oh no no there we go the three of diamonds oh you have the two of diamonds have the three of diamonds I

think I know why I messed up it’s because the three of diamonds actually looks really close to the two of diamonds like that right so check your hand again do you remember your card

check your hand so what do you have here show with a camera what you have you do you have a three yeah you actually have the three right oh my well damn that’s some magic right there

so um hold it in your hand again right so obviously you have one two three four pieces right here right four pieces of the three of diamonds right here and actually give me your hand again

I’m actually going to put it in your hand squeeze it really tight really tight do you believe in the power of healing yes really okay what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna

try to heal the three of diamonds you know it was broken into quarters open up your hand and open the card up oh my and just like that the three of diamonds is restored let’s see how this is done okay

I hope you guys enjoy that performance it was I love this trick and get amazing reactions and it’s always fun to perform so let’s get to the tutorial straight away – oh by the way before we start I

would first like to point out that I do not own this trick and it’s not original I actually saw someone perform this trick when I was in Vegas and because he was not the best magician in the world I

was able to figure it out right away I saw the mercury fold I saw like all the stuff so I was like hey I think I can do that and then so I think I figured it out I think it’s either the

exact same or it’s really close to how he performed and obviously you get great reactions okay so to start with you do require a set of duplicates came so in my performance I think I used the threes

or the twos I don’t really remember but you just need a duplicate with the same backs obviously blue for me so – five of clubs and you want a card that’s really similar to the duplicates by that I mean

that four of clubs is really close to the five of clubs right even the four of spades is close to the five of clubs but I wouldn’t say the four of Hearts is close to the five of clubs because the

colors contrast and maybe six of clubs works as well because five than the six right six of Spades even works so just a pick just pick a card that’s really close to the duplicates so don’t pick

like seven of diamonds or seven of Hearts or two of diamonds or the King of Hearts you see what I mean the five of clubs and the King of Hearts they’re not similar but the four of clubs and the

five of clubs very similar ok so that’s a little bit of preparation and those are the only things that you have to prepare for and the setup is this you want the clothes

card in this case would be the four of clubs actually and you just want that on the top and then you want to take the other two duplicates and put it on the top as well so the setup is two

duplicates and one close card like so okay close to duplicates so right off the bat you’re going to approach the stranger or the spectator and tell them to pick a card but you’re actually going

to be forcing the 5 of clubs in my performance I use the invisible force because I’m pretty good at that force but if you are not comfortable with using that force you can use a riffle

force or any other forces that you know of by the way invisible force looks like this the spectator picks any card they want and they actually pick the five of

clubs like so okay so if you don’t know what that is I don’t have a tutorial on this yet so maybe check out I think Jarek 120 has it disturb reality I’m not too sure but you can check other videos

and then come back if you want to know if you want to do it that way but if you want to force a card differently go ahead do that I think you can do a slip force stop that’s the five of clubs

right and you can use the riffle fours that’s the five of clubs just make sure that after you force your card you remain maintain the top order the five and the four because for me when I

do a slip force and let’s say you stop right here I actually for some reason put the five of clubs down and then sandwich the other way around so I don’t have the five and the four in the top

anymore so just remember that you want to make remain or maintain the five of clubs and the four of clubs at the top after you force this card the duplicate okay so once you have forced this you’re

not allowed to get them the car get the card sign it because because you have duplicates right it wouldn’t make sense for them to get it signed so make sure you don’t

sign it with a sharpie get rid of that you don’t need that and you just need them to remember the card and then all you’re going to do is after you show them the card you’re going to get the

card lost in the middle of the deck simple and no sleight of hand involved the five of clubs actually goes into the middle of the deck without any funny movements you don’t have a pinkie break

you don’t do double under contact double undercut to control it to the top okay you don’t do anything because you already have the five of clubs in the top as a duplicate

once you’ve done that you’re going to talk about how sometimes or if someone’s snaps her fingers you can get the five of clubs to jump to the top and all you’re doing is once you do that you’re

doing a double lift okay so you’re going to be like hey it’s not your card but then obviously four of clubs is not their card this is a double lift okay so and then you’re going to talk about how

I messed up or you messed up and you’re feeling really embarrassed so you’re going to actually try something else and tore tear the cards every time you mess up that’s where you’re going to

tell him okay so you’re going to undo the double lift and then take the first card which is not the four of clubs because it’s the it’s a double lift you actually have the five of clubs and

you’re actually going to tear it into four make sure that you don’t flash it because the camera is here where the audience is I’m tearing it like this but when the spectator is standing from

there you would be tearing it like this which should be quite a lot easier okay so you’re just gonna tear it in to afford it’s not hard but just make sure that

it’s equal or roughly equal okay so once you have once you tear them like this you’re going to tell the spectator to hold out their hands and then if they put you’re going to put them faced down

do not put them face up put them face down like so and then just make sure that if there’s wind or anything or if you think the spectator is gonna take a peek make sure you get them to send

which it like so so they don’t look at it okay so let’s just say this box represents the spectators hands and just gonna put it on top right here the

four cards so they think they have the four of clubs but they actually have the five of clubs four of clubs is actually on the pump now what you’re going to do is you’re going to say what was your

cardigan and you’re actually going to search for with the five of clubs so just go ahead and then look for the five of clubs and say wait here it is and what you’re going to do is you’re going

to take the five of clubs to the very top right and then you’re going to show that it’s here and while you’re doing that you’re going to do a push off top card pinkie break like so on the four of

clubs or the card that’s really similar to the duplicate and all you’re going to do is you’re going to take the five of clubs put at the very top grab all the cards from the break see the four and

the five and in my video or performance I did a duck change but if you don’t feel comfortable doing that you can do a shape change or you can do ocean that was really bad you can do shapeshifter

all those other color changes and then you’re gonna say I think I messed it up because the five actually looks really close to the four and then that’s when you they go crazy and then you’re going

to tell them to look at their card which indeed makes it seem like you have teleported their card okay but this is not over that’s just phase one while you’re showing the four of clubs and

they’re looking at the five of clubs you’re going to do this move you’re going to take your thumb and then simply bring it to the very bottom like so if you don’t feel like doing that what you

could do is you can actually do it like so you can put the four of clubs in the middle of the deck or on the table and you can do a Cardini change on the very top card which will actually be better

because you’ll have it face down or facing up so I’ll talk about the cart I’ll talk about what I did first and then top book hardly any change so in my video or performance I just did this or

I did this and then what I did was I flipped a card so that the card the very bottom card or the five of clubs is actually facing up okay while all the cards

facing down the five of clubs is actually facing up that’s the position you want to be in but if you don’t Cardini change you can be like okay do you want to take a look at look at the

fourth clubs as well and then the spectator can be looking at the four of clubs and the five of clubs at the same time and while they’re distracted you could do a Cardini change like so which

will actually prepare you for the next phase the five clubs is at the very bottom so while that’s happening what you’re going to do is just take the fourth clubs put it on the very top

while you’re doing that you’re going to put your hand over like this and you’re going to do a mercury four-fold mur threefold it’s really simple I do not have what tutorial on this either but

there are many channels other magic channels that teaches you how to do this and I’m just going to go over this really quick in my channel right now so right now you have the five of clubs at

the very bottom from the side this is a grip you want the thumb hanging out very very low like so okay it doesn’t matter what these fingers do not matter your thumb should be in the middle of the

deck right here just hanging really low and then what you’re going to do is you’re going to take the left hand or your left index finger and then you’re going to start from the very top of this

bottom card and then simply use friction to bring the card down and fold it down so like oh my god why is my hand so slippery so it’s gonna look like that okay so it’s gonna look like this okay

so you’re simply going to put your index finger on the top and then bring the card over like this this folds the card in half from here you’re simply going to make a fist like this which will fold

the card into four and then you’re going to drop the deck on the top and then you’re gonna squeeze a card like so that so that the quarter or the car that you folded into quarters stays put like so

okay so that’s what it is so again it’s on the top do Cardini change bring it to the very bottom take their fourth clubs and then you’re going to have this formation on your thumb and then do a

mercury fold like so and put at the very bottom that’s really simple and it’s very discreet okay once you have done that you’re actually going to take the cards you’re going to

actually count them actually you’re going to be like okay so there is one piece put it facedown two pieces put a facedown three put it facedown you get the idea for and put it facedown okay

you want them all to be facing down so right now on your right hand you have the five of clubs that is folded and you’re holding it by under the deck with your three fingers like so with a thumb

on the top and on your left hand you have all the fours for four pieces of the five of clubs so this is a sleight of hand which should be super simple all you’re doing is while you’re bringing

your hand over you’re going to drop the deck on your hand and then you’re going to slide out the we folded ones so okay does that make sense so actually let’s take a joker let’s say this is a five of

clubs that has been folded and it’s at the very bottom of the deck after you take the four pieces one by one all facing down you’re going to bring it down and this is a switch you’re gonna

take out the folded one and you’re going to hold it like this facedown in a fist so that they can’t tell that it’s all folded up so you’re going to squeeze it a bit and then you’re going to tell them

hold out your hand for me and then all you’re doing is that while you’re putting this into their hands you’re going to take all the cards with the broken pieces inside your pocket like so

let’s say I just put that in my pocket and then they’re gonna be holding out their hand like so you’re going to drop the folded card and you’re going to tell them to squeeze it really hard and ask

them do you believe in the power of regeneration and then if they say no you can be like think again open up your hands or if they say yes good choice open up your hands and then magically

it’s just going to restore it by the way that would be the five of clubs so basically these just they’ve just seen the five of clubs get torn up actually they’ve seen the four of clubs get torn

up which changes to the five of clubs that’s the Transpo part and the five of clubs actual turns into the folded one that’s the regeneration part okay

so torn in restore Transpo that’s the whole trick I hope you really enjoy this trick or this tutorial I may have gone a bit fast a bit brief but all my videos are getting really long and some people
