The Switch (Easy Street Trick)

hey what’s up guys today I’m going to teach you a quick and needed trick called the switch do you want me to so this trick works a lot better with a spectator because you kind of have to

utilize their hand but since they’re not here we’re going to use this card box and let’s say this just represents the spectators hand so this is an impromptu trick so that would mean the spectator

has a freedom of choice freedom to choose any card they want and let’s say the spectator touched this card right here which is the King of Diamonds and keep in mind in the actual performance I

wouldn’t know what this what the card they chose I would only show this to the spectator okay now we’re going to take the King of Diamonds stick it to the middle of the span and stick the whole

thing into the middle of this packet in theory you could I guess say the card is in the middle of the middle of the whole packet but and I haven’t done anything yet

I haven’t manipulated two cars or anything obviously it’s the top card the queen of clubs is not your card either so I’m going to give you the queen of club and you’re going to put your hand

on top of it so nothing can get through or nothing can escape under your hand right you’re putting it right on top so I can’t do anything I’ll be over here you’ll be over there

now from here now imagine your card you’re imagine you’re the queen of clubs changing into your card okay if you’ve done that just think about it why it’s hard and in theory if I snap my fingers

like that the magic will take over and there we go the King of Diamonds in your card is right here let’s see how it’s done this is a quite simple trick it utilizes a card control called the alert

in card control and I’m pretty sure that’s what it’s called and I’ll have a link of this tutorial or tutorial of the alert under control in the link below and I might have an annotation above in

the video so anyways this is how the trick which goes you have to force a car on them and then you have to bring it up to the very top and you can do this by

doing the alert and control so you spread out their deck spread out the cards like this keep in mind it’s an impromptu trick so you don’t need to set up anything you can use a borrowed deck

or anything like that so I love this trick it gets great reactions and let’s say you tell them to touch a card not pick out touch a card and if you say touch and specify touch

they will only touch the card and they’ll actually not take out the card and that’s very important okay so let’s say they touch this card right here and we’re going to mark it with a blue card

so let’s just say they touched a blue card right here so it’s a lot easier for you to follow so they touch the blue card right here and using the alerting control which is

pretty much while you’re showing the cars like this you’re going to move the top card back using your thumb you’re going to slide it back if you check the tutorial below I’m pretty sure I will go

in more depth and you’ll have a better understanding of it okay so you’re going to use this control show them their card and you don’t really have to see the card it’s only the spectator is going to

see the card and so in theory this is a card if chosen okay so eight of Hearts now this blue card is like a decoy because of the alerting control it’s how it works and then while they’re looking

at their cards the eight of Hearts we’re going to make a fan and then while you’re turning this hand over like this you’re going to just slide these two cards switch the cards of these two and

take the eight of heart I mean the King of Spades which is not their card their card unless the eight of hearts and pick put into this middle of the middle of this packet which goes into middle of

this packet now you’ve just dumped what they think their card is into the middle of the deck and you’ve kept the control of the eight of Hearts at the top now from here it’s quite simple you say I

haven’t done anything fun yet and then you just keep talking be very casual and say obviously since I haven’t done anything funny the cards shouldn’t be at the top and then you’re going to

a simple double lid it was really weird because on the side of this card it’s really soft and this side is pretty hard so I couldn’t I don’t know anyways you’re just going to do a simple double

lift and say this is not your card is it obviously you haven’t control your card so tell me what your card is and then you can tell ask them to do that or whatever from here and then from here

you’re going to do another double lift close it and then tell them to hold up their hand like so well you could do you could approach this in two ways you can tell them to if you have a table you

could do a double lift show them it’s not the card right here the King of Diamonds closed it put on the pie put on the table tell them to put their hand on top of it and explain how nothing can

get through okay and in theory you can tell them to imagine about their cars imagining the king of what it was it the King of Diamonds changing into your cars and then in theory if they rub it like

this it’s going to change it into their card now there’s a better ending to this I couldn’t do this because I don’t really have a spectator but after you do a double list like so you’re going to

tell them to don’t close it yet you’re going to tell them to hold out their hands like this okay just do it like this and then obviously they’re going to do it like this and then from here

you’re going to ask them do you use your right hand more or your left hand more and while you’re doing that you’re going to point to their right hand and their left hand or in this case right ten

would be here because it would be facing from the other side anyway it doesn’t matter so right hand or left hand and then they’ll typically say right hand or left hand it doesn’t matter and then

what you’re going to do is you’re going to take you’re going to close a bubble lift take the top card which is not the King of Diamonds right remember that’s a double lift so this is their cards and

you’re going to place it on top of your hand like this and you’re going to take their other head and close it like this if you’re outside tell them that the wind might wouldn’t win might take the

card away or you in your if you’re inside indoors you can tell them to hold it tight so that nothing didn’t get through or I can’t get through okay and then from

here magic is done when they open their hands it should be d8 of course now the effect could be now imagine your imagine the King of Diamonds changing into your cards physically forming it back into

your card or do something like that and then yeah the magic is all done from here you can do whatever you can be you can just like pop them like this and then tell them your car changed

or whatever you want to do is going to be funny it’s going to be more serious you can be like okay open your hands up anything like that how from here you can do whatever you want and it will always

work so that’s the tutorial guys I know it’s a really quick one but it’s really impressive and this gets this trick this trick gets really good reaction so I’ll see you guys next time peace
