Magic Course #06: Three Packet False Cut

[Music] hey what’s up guys welcome back to my channel this will be I think the sixth video in the magic course today we’re going to talk about three packet Falls

cut it looks like this I’m using the I’m using the 2016 virtuoso summer the addition it’s a Yelp it’s a really nice deck of cards feels great it’s fork artists I think I use this for my other

video which I talked about swing cuts so sorry packet falls cut is pretty simple what it basically does is that it’s a false cut so no matter how many times he cut it you leave the deck in the exact

order you started so let’s say you have the Jack of Clubs on the top and at the bottom you have the seven of Hearts if you do a false cut believe the Jack of Clubs at the top and seven of the heart

seven seven of Hearts at the bottom but if you just do a normal swing cut it actually messes up the order at this time ace of Ace of Spades is at the top and nine of clubs is at the bottom so

here’s a tutorial for it what you want to do is it’s really similar to my last video the swing cut tutorial if you don’t know how to do it you better check that out because it’s basically swing

cut with little variation you’re gonna hold it like this exactly same as what a swing cut like what would you do in swing cut and then you’re going the first step is pretty easy you’re gonna

swing it like swing it like this for the second packet you’re gonna break it apart like this and then with your left left hand you’re gonna come in like this and then with your free ring finger

right here you’re going to grab the top pocket and then you’re going to use this thumb to grab the bottom pack bottom part of the packet so again the top of the top you your ring

finger comes in contact with the top of this packet and your thumb grabs into the bottom packet like this so this is what it would look like right again this is what it looks like and then when

that happens at the same time with your thumb and your index finger you’re going to push the packet into the fleshy part right there like this and then hold on to the second packet and pull it out

okay again you cut that’s a sick swing cut cut again it’s like a hand off to your right hand and then you trade the two packets like this and then once you get

that down your ago you’re ready to do the heel 180 helix cut no that’s not it um I forgot what it’s called but anyways this is what you will be learning next turning it like this so you’re in this

position now where you’re holding it with your ring finger and your thumb and you just hand it off the middle pocket to this hand they’re going to hold it like this you don’t really have to hold

it you can just like leave it on your hand and then using your index finger you’re going to come over here come in contact with the bottom of the packet right here right beside your thumb in

the middle swing it and turn it at the same time and then when it comes comes right here you drop it okay again once you are here you’re holding it to your ring finger and your thumb for the top

packet you’re going to use your index finger and your other index finger to swing it around your right index finger like this and drop it right and then for the last packet you just drop the whole

packet like this and that is what a trip what a three packet Falls cut looks like if you do it if you didn’t write you should have the deck in exact order you started in let’s do that

again okay it’s gonna be a quick review hold it like this thumb should be right here your index finger right here middle finger and the

ring finger is at the top of the deck when using your right index finger you’re gonna cut a portion of the cards swing like this and then using your left hand you’re gonna come over put it comes

in contact with a fleshy part grab it like that pull it out and then for the second packet you cut it again like this and then you’re going to trade this packet of cards this one and then this

one right here so from here you’re going to trade this packet in this packet it’s gonna come like this and while that’s happening you’re going to grab the left packet with your ring finger and your

thumb and when that’s happening you’re going to grab the middle packet with your thumb and your index finger of your left hand and pull it out so your middle finger should be free now but you’re

holding the other packets with your index finger and your ring finger and once you get that down use your index finger to swing it like this turn it over and drop it on your left hand and

drop the rest of the packets onto your left hand that’s what it looks like in Fast mo in fast pace this is what it should look like it’s a pretty easy cut but at the start it’ll be difficult for
