Year of Water

WATERLICHT: A Water Light Show at Columbia University

“WATERLICHT is an inspiration for the future: can we build floating cities, how much power can we generate from the movement of water?” said Dutch artist and innovator Daan Roosegaarde on his visionary art installation. Through this work, Daan Roosegaarde and Columbia University School of the Arts Dean Carol Becker are using art to trigger an emotional response to our climate crisis for a Year of Water initiative at Columbia University. The event was held on Columbia’s Manhattanville Campus at in front of the Lenfest Center for the Arts.
