Flam Drag – Drum Rudiment Lesson (Drumeo)

the flam drag this Ruderman is based off of two rudiments the flam stroke and the drag now there's a couple different ways you can play this but generally speaking

you're going to play it in a triplet type of feel and it's kind of similar to the flam accent and if you remember what the flam accent was it is flam left right flam right left flam left right

flam right left but what we're going to do now is we're going to throw a little drag or a little double in the middle of that sound like this a little faster now if you want to play this with a more

rigid feel and a more straight ahead feel it'll sound like this but let's practice this with that triplet type of feel remember it's like a flam accent but throwing a little double in between

let's practice it at 60 beats per minute to dive deeper into this rudiment and to improve your overall drumming come join us at dromio calm
