the single flagged mill this rudiment is like a reverse paradiddle while adding a flam to the beginning of each rotation so let me just walk you through that

really slowly we're doing a paradiddle which is right left right right left right left left but let's reverse that let's start with the doubles right right left right left left right left right

right left right left left right left now just like the flam paradiddle let's add a flam to the first note of every rotation right right left right left left right left

The single flammed mill is an interesting rudiment that incorporates the flam stroke with a paradiddle-like foundation. It’s a little less popular than some of the other rudiments, but it’s definitely something you should practice.
