Peter Trevino | #ColumbiaPride
One of the the main things that we members of the LGBT community need to do is be who and what we are in every situation.
The moment we all come out of the closet and stand up and say hey I'm here. We have a chance to explore anything we want to. We get to identify with
people who are like us and not like us but in my own personal experience. There are far more allies than there are detractors.
So I think that being a part of the GS community and the Columbia University community writ large. As an openly gay man. Is.
The best. Because I get a chance to be who and what I am without question and I.
I wouldn't say that is celebrated here because I don't think it should be. But I will say that nobody has a problem with it.
“There are far more allies than there are detractors,” says @ColumbiaGS student Peter Trevino. Trevino talks about the power of being who and what he is, and being a part of #Columbia.
