I try to find as many ways as possible to communicate the importance of generating high quality harmonic content in your vocal training and singing. This is what will give you your “signature sound”. It is also how you will sing and sound your best with the least amount of effort.

When are technique is poor, when the muscles of our head, face and neck that should be active to amplify desirable resonation are, instead, flacid, sonic energy is absorbed and lost, rather than harmonically amplified. Our sound becomes dull and lifeless and we are prone to feeling pressure and pain in our throats.
